Upgrades to the sidewalks at Kingshighway and Barnes-Jewish Plaza intersection, as part of Campus Renewal, will start September 18 and continue in three phases for about five months. The intersection’s northwest corner is the first section to be affected (see the map).
The sidewalk on the northwest corner will be closed for approximately five weeks during reconstruction. Detour signs will direct pedestrians. In addition, the right turn lane from southbound Kingshighway to Hospital Dr. will close, although right turns will still be possible.
Information about subsequent phases will be shared as the time nears.
