Falcon Banding at Washington University School of Medicine
May 28, 2015
On Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 the World Bird Sanctuary came to the School of Medicine to band the falcon chicks born here on campus. The World Bird Sanctuary does this to increase knowledge on the species. With the larger numbered and lettered bands, the falcons can be seen at a much further distance, especially with binoculars which helps to gather information on all other aspects of the sighting.
