Potential for noise and vibration near Queeny Tower on January 15th

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital

As the interior demolition of Queeny Tower progresses, two elevators will be removed from the building sometime between 6:45 am and 7:15 am., Wednesday, January 15th. Occupants of adjacent buildings may briefly hear a loud noise or feel some vibration as the elevator cabs make impact with the bottom of the shaft, which will be contained to reduce potential sound. This standard process for removing elevators is quick and designed to minimize disruption.
Additionally, concrete removal between Queeny Tower and Rand Johnson will take place periodically over the next several weeks that may be noisy at times.
