Scott Avenue will be closed starting at 7pm on Friday, November 13th until 5am on Sunday, November 15th

Starting at 7pm on Friday, November 13th, Scott Avenue will be closed for the installation of a new boiler in the Euclid Power Plant which will provide the required steam supply for the new Neuroscience Research Building. Scott Avenue will be re-opened at 5am on Sunday, November 15th. This will require the new boiler to be lifted over the top of the pedestrian link which connects Olin Hall to the East Building. This critical crane pick will take approximately 10 minutes and will occur around 9am on Saturday, November 14th.
During this crane pick, WUSM Public Safety will shut down the link and the interior spaces in Olin and the East Building immediately adjacent to the link.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding while we continue to work to create the infrastructure required to support the new Neuroscience Research Building. For any questions, please contact Mitch Snyder, Senior Project Manager.
