Outages

McDonnell Pediatric Research Building-Air Handling Unit Service Interruption 5/28/2021-6/4/2021

In support of the annual 7230-Boon lab recommissioning, there will be intermittent supply and exhaust airflow available to the building labs during the outage times listed below. This will affect all supply air, temperature, and hood exhaust throughout the building labs.

Friday, May 28th: 3:00 am to 7:00 am
Tuesday, June 1st: 3:00 am to 7:00 am
Wednesday, June 2nd: 3:00 am to 7:00 am
Thursday, June 3rd: 3:00 am to 7:00 am
Friday, June 4th: 3:00 am to 7:00 am

• During these work periods, there will be intermittent, reduced exhaust airflow to all of the non-BSL3 laboratories in the building. No work should occur in the fume hoods during the work periods listed above.

• The supply air unit (AHU-1) for the northwestern half of the building will be off intermittently during the times noted above. Supply air will be intermittent during the work periods listed above with minimal impact to space temperatures.

• The exhaust fans serving the 7301, 7303, and 8201 BSL3 lab suites will remain operational during the outage; however, we are asking that no work occur in these BSL3 laboratory suites during the work periods listed above due to intermittent supply air.
