At approximately 1:00 AM there was a mechanical failure with an Air Handler Unit 5 which caused pressure alarms for ABSL3 suite on the 11th floor. At this time no work should take place within this lab. At this time Facilities Engineering is in the process of recovering the Air Handler Unit. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems and room pressures are working in a normal manner.
As of 3:00 AM all HVAC systems have returned to normal operation and all A/BSL3 or BSL3 alarms have returned to normal. All activities may resume in the affected areas.
