OFMD is working with a contractor to complete cleaning of the supply ducts serving the 7230 BSL3 suite. This is a continuation of the multi-phase project to clean the supply air ducts in MPRB. The schedule of the cleaning is described below.
Wednesday, May 11th: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning
Thursday, May 12th: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning
• During these work periods, there will be reduced exhaust airflow to all of the non-BSL3 laboratories in the building. No work should occur in fume hoods during the work periods listed above.
• The supply air to the labs on the western side of the building, including all of the BSL3 labs, will be off. Supply air and space temperature for these areas will be affected.
• The exhaust airflow to all of the BSL3 lab suites will remain operational during the outages.
• No work may occur in the BSL3 labs during this outage.
