At approximately 11:30 AM there was a communication failure with Air Handler Unit 5 which feeds BSL3 suite 1103. At this time no work should take place within this lab. At this time Facilities Engineering is in the process of recovering the HVAC system. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems and room pressures are working in a normal manner.
As of 12:30 PM all HVAC systems have returned to normal operation and all A/BSL3 or BSL3 alarms have returned to normal. All activities may resume in the affected areas.
