Bon Appetit new team announcement

Bon Appetit is excited to announce its new leadership team at the School of Medicine.

Ivy Magruder is the new General Manager. Born and raised in St. Louis, Ivy earned his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University. He has led the kitchens of Vin de Set, Eleven Eleven Mississippi, the Blue Water Grill, and served as corporate executive chef for the Gamlin Restaurant Group. Ivy is deeply committed to supporting local charities associated with culinary arts, green initiatives, and teaching.

Tony Cole is the new Campus Executive Chef here at the Medical Campus. A lifetime culinarian, Tony has worked at some of the best establishments in St. Louis, including Eleven Eleven Mississippi, Vin de Set and the Ritz-Carlton. Tony is an experienced hospitality professional that is committed to creating food that is alive with flavor and nutrition, prepared from scratch using authentic and local ingredients

Mark Catubig is the new Director of Catering. Mark was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Southern California after high school. There he was employed by Hyatt Hotels working in catering and banquets. After nine years in California, Mark moved to Saint Louis and took a position with Bon Appetit at the Washington University Danforth Campus. He is very excited to join the team here at the Medical Campus where he can bring his 20-plus years of hospitality service experience.

We welcome this new team and will be sending future updates regarding the Shell Café and Food Truck re-opening plans this fall.
