Laying the foundation for our future: Deadline extended to August 2 to share thoughts, well wishes

If you haven’t had a chance to share your thoughts or well wishes for those who will receive care and/or for staff who will work in the new 16-story patient care tower on Kingshighway at Barnes-Jewish Plaza, you’re in luck! The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, August 2nd. Complete this form to share your message, which will be placed in the concrete foundation for the new tower when it is poured in early August.

The new 16-story tower includes 224 private inpatient rooms (32 rooms on seven floors) and 56 private intensive care unit (ICU) rooms (28 rooms on two floors). Surgery prep and recovery, imaging and cafeteria and dietary program also are being designed into the new building, as well as significant improvements underway along Barnes-Jewish Plaza to simplify and enhance arrival and wayfinding. The phased opening of the tower is scheduled for 2025-2026.
