The Operations & Facilities Management Department is sending this communication as a reminder about the requirements for proper furniture disposal on the School of Medicine campus.
Many campus members have been dumping furniture on the docks, which has created safety and funding issues related to the disposal of these assets. The dumping is happening in the late afternoon and evening and has become a significant reoccurring issue.
Please remind your department members not to drop furniture on the docks. If you have furniture to dispose of, please fill out a ServiceNow work order (choose “Facilities Operations: WUSM Move Services”) and our department will work with you on the removal.
