Construction continues on the 4560 Clayton Building roof repairs. Old World Roofing’s regular working hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, with an exception for days with temperatures of 90 degrees or higher, when acceptable working hours are 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The main entrance, the CID west school entrance, and the ADA entrance will remain accessible to staff and students throughout the duration of the project. The regular pick-up and drop-off lane at the main entrance will be closed to vehicular traffic during phase 1 (until Nov 13, 2025, weather-dependent).
During that time, the south side of Clayton Avenue will be used as the pick-up/drop-off lane for students who will be accepted at the east and west entrances of the 825 S. Taylor building.
The sidewalk west of the main entrance will be closed intermittently for brief periods throughout Phase 1 of the project. Phase 1’s estimated completion date is November 13, 2025. The total project’s estimated completion date is February 27, 2025.
