Paving to Close Multiple Streets on Campus

6:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.

Starting at 6pm on Monday, October 24, the City of St. Louis Department of Streets will close McKinley Avenue to resurface the street. If you park on McKinley, please make sure your car is moved before the start time; otherwise, the City will tow it.

Once finished with McKinley, they will begin resurfacing Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza at approximately 10pm. While Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza is closed during the night, patients and visitors will be able to access the South garage through the team member entrance from Clayton Avenue. Both streets should be open by 6am on Tuesday, October 25, enabling patients and visitors to access the public entry of the south garage.

On Tuesday, October 25 at 6pm, the City will begin resurfacing Taylor Avenue from the Metro Link tracks south to the Highway 40 bridge.

There will be congestion during this time and we ask that you find alternate routes to avoid any delays. This work is weather dependent and if not able to start on Monday night due to weather, the start date will move to Tuesday.
