As of 12:25 a.m. the repair to the Air Handler Unit has been completed and all BSL3 room pressure alarms have returned to normal. All work activities may resume in the BSL3 facility a t this time.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. the Air Handler Uni t that supports the 11th floor BSL3 facility began to experience operationa l issues causing several pressure alarms for rooms 1103\, 1103-D and 1103-E . At this time NO WORK should take place within this lab. At this time Faci lities Engineering is in the process of recovering the Air Handler Unit. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems and room pr essures are working in a normal manner.
