Resurfaced tennis courts/pickleball courts opening next week

The tennis courts in Hudlin Park that have been under reconstruction since March will open Tuesday, September 5th. The new courts have also been striped for pickleball. The courts will be available first-come, first-served. The two courts east of the reopened courts have closed for resurfacing and should reopen in late fall or early winter, depending on the weather. One of the Campus Renewal webcam views – Multiple Views of Plaza Entry – shows the new courts. This webcam view also switches to show progress on the Plaza garage lobbies and the new pedestrian bridge.

Watch progress on the new pedestrian bridge over BJ Plaza

This fall, the new pedestrian bridge will be set over Barnes-Jewish Plaza. One of the Campus Renewal webcam views – Multiple Views of Plaza Entry – shows progress on the steel rising from the Plaza Garage, which will support the new bridge. This webcam view also switches to show progress on the tennis courts in Hudlin Park. As plans are finalized, more information will be shared about the bridge being set over the street.
