A supply fan motor failed in one of the four supply air handling units that serve the basement vivarium. The motor will be replaced during this outage. The schedule for the outage is defined below. There will be a brief reduction in supply airflow during the times listed below. Minimal to no impact is expected to space temperature and pressures in the basement vivarium. NO work may occur in the B120 ABSL3 suite during the outage times listed below.
• Wednesday, August 24 from 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM: AHU-11 will be taken out of service. It’s possible that this will briefly cause a low enough dip in supply duct pressure to temporarily put the B120 suite into emergency mode. The motor in AHU-11 will be replaced during normal business hours on Wednesday.
• Thursday, August 25 from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM: AHU-11 will be placed back in service. It’s possible that this will briefly cause a low enough dip in supply duct pressure to temporarily put the B120 suite into emergency mode.
