The purpose of this outage is to perform maintenance and testing on the main electrical switchgear that distributes power throughout Renard. This requires de-energizing the switchgear so that we can safely and effectively perform the required work. This work will ensure that the main electrical system will continue to provide safe and reliable power. This outage will affect all lighting, receptacles and equipment connected to normal power on every floor in Renard. There will be generator back-up power for the lights receptacles and equipment connected to the emergency power system, but all normal power will be off Sunday, October 9th from 7:00 am – 11:00 am.
