Facilities Operations Update

Main level corridor to West Pavilion elevators closing October 27th

Sent on behalf of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

On October 27th, the main level corridor to the West Pavilion elevators will close as contractors renovate the area. This will remain closed through the end of the year. Impacts include the following:
• The West Pavilion elevators will not be accessible on the main level, nor will they stop on the main level. The elevators will stop on all other floors.
• The door to the stairs near the West Pavilion elevators will be locked on the main level to prevent access to the construction zone.
• The Department of Hospital Medicine entrance will be relocated near the Rand Johnson elevators.
• The time clock in the West Pavilion corridor will not be accessible. Team members can use the time clock near the Central elevators.
• Team members and physicians can alternately take the Rand Johnson elevators or staff elevators near the lobby.
• Patients and visitors should be directed to the Central/Express elevators.
• Signage will be in place on all floors at the West Pavilion elevators, within each elevator and in the stairwell.
• The map depicts the construction area and alternate elevators.
