OFMD is working with Johnson Controls to recommission the MPRB-8201 BSL3 suite. As part of this effort, failure mode and recovery testing of the ventilation systems (supply and exhaust) and associated controls that serve the 8201 BSL3 suite will be completed. To minimize the impact on the lab occupants in the building, testing will be completed per the following schedule:
Monday, April 25th: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Tuesday, April 26st: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Wednesday, April 27th: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Thursday, April 28th: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Friday, April 29th: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• During these work periods, there will be intermittent supply and exhaust airflow available to all of the building labs. No work should occur in the fume hoods during the work periods listed above.
• The supply air unit (AHU-1) for the northwestern half of the building will be off intermittently during the times noted above. Supply air for these areas will be affected during the work periods listed above with minimal impact to space temperatures.
• No work may occur in the 7230, 7301, and 7303 BSL3 laboratory suites during the work periods listed above because of the intermittent supply air available during the outage.
