New parking options coming

We are excited to announce we will have a new parking lot opening in fall of 2019 at 1234 S. Kingshighway. We will have approximately 150-200 spaces opening for WUSM employees, faculty and students whose primary assignment is on the Medical Campus for a rate of $50 per month (this rate will remain the same until FY25).  For WUSM occupants of the 1234 facility, the rate will be $40 a month for the same period of time.

We will have shuttles running to and from the lot to the Medical Campus every 15-20 minutes from 5 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. We will send more information on this parking lot when we get closer to the time. The lot will be gated and will be staffed by campus security during the shuttled hours.

If you wish to sign up for this parking lot in advance of the opening, please email Lois Gyore, Program Coordinator, at lgyore@wustl.edu.

Faculty, Staff and Student Parking

Parking for faculty, staff and students can be setup initially by clicking here or by visiting the Facilities Integrated Service Center (FISC) on the First Floor of the Spencer T. Olin Residence Hall, 4550 Scott Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Faculty, staff and students also have the option to purchase a discounted debit pass for occasional parking.  To purchase a debit pass please visit the Clayton Taylor Garage attendant’s booth located at 4485 Clayton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 with a valid WUSM ID badge.

* Parking is not prorated. No refunds for parking permits or WUSM debit pass will be issued.

Unless special circumstances exist, most faculty, staff and students will be offered parking in Clayton Garage. The garages is located at the intersection of Clayton and S. Taylor Avenue (Clayton Garage).

Visitor Parking

Limited visitor parking is available on selected parking lots. The St. Louis City Treasurer’s Office maintains a few parking meters around campus as well. Usually the best option for most visitors to the School of Medicine will be to park on an hourly basis in either the Clayton or Metro Garage, 4526 Children’s Place, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Effective Monday, January 5th, 2015, WUSM garages will align their visitor rates to campus with that of our hospital partners.  This change will allow WUMC to better communicate and service campus visitors in a streamlined and efficient way.  This change will affect both Metro and Clayton garages.

New (as of January 5th, 2015) WUSM Garage Rates:

  •  0 – 1 hour            $2.00
  • 1 – 2 hours          $3.00
  • 2 – 3 hours          $5.00
  • 3 – 4 hours          $6.00
  • 4 – 5 hours          $7.00
  • 5 – 6 hours          $8.00

WUSM will accept both event and hospital validations at both garages.
