Due to a valve failure on the domestic water riser, both the hot and cold water will be shutdown to repair the valve. Preparation by the departments for this shutdown is expected to be minimal – due to the shutdown of domestic hot and cold water, we are requesting that the staff not use any plumbing fixtures – sinks, toilets water fountains, showers, etc. in the building during the shutdown. The shutdown is not expected to affect the chilled water systems in the basement or on 2nd floor, nor is it expected to affect the RO water system in the building.
