EV charging stations are located in the Clayton, Newstead and Metro Garages. The charging unit must be provided by the EV owner. The EV spaces in the Clayton and Newstead Garages are WUSM permit-required. The Metro Garage has a limited amount of EV spaces on the 3rd floor of the garage and a permit is not required to use these two spaces, as they are first-come, first-serve. The Newstead Garage includes 36 EV spots in the garage (levels 1P, 2P, 4P, 5P, 6P and 7P – 6 on each level).
Vehicles parking in the designated EV spaces must be electric and plugged in when using the Clayton, Newstead and Metro Garage spaces.
EV parkers can sign up for a Clayton or Newstead Garage EV permit at the FISC Desk (first floor, Mid Campus Center), pending availability. Please view our monthly rates for the most updated EV permit rate.
