McDonnell Pediatric Research Building – Positive Room Pressure Service Interruption

10:35 a.m.-12:40 p.m.

At approximately 10:14 a.m. there were positive room pressure alarms for the 8th floor BSL3 suite and the 7301 & 7302 BSL3 Facility. At this time NO WORK should take place within these two facilities. Facilities Engineering is in the process of investigating and recovering the room. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems and room pressures are working in a normal manner.

As of 12:40 p.m. all HVAC systems have returned to normal operation and all A/BSL3 or BSL3 alarms have returned to normal.  All activities may resume in the affected areas.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
