At approximately 3:11 PM, the control air compressor that serves MPRB failed. At this time no work should take place within the 7303-Diamond BSL3 lab or 7230-BSL3 lab. Facilities Engineering is in the process of investigating and resolving this issue. A follow-up message will be delivered once all mechanical systems are working in a normal manner.

As of 5:20 PM, all HVAC systems have returned to normal operation, and all BSL3 alarms have returned to normal.  All activities may resume in the affected areas.
