Between October 10, 3 p.m. and October 13, 7 a.m. Facilities will be assisting contractors in shutting down the exhaust system that serves fume hoods 402, 404, and 406 to install ductwork modifications. During the specified dates and times, no work in the fume hoods will be allowed.

At approximately 2:45 PM on Wednesday, September 24, facilities were notified of a gas leak in the 10th-floor vertical expansion. By 3:30 PM, facilities located the leak and isolated it. The elevators will be taken out of service on Monday, October 27, between 6 pm and 10 pm for final inspection of the fire recall function on the new fire alarm system. The elevators will be returned to normal service by 10 pm.
