Facilities and contractors will be working on upgrades to the air handling unit system for the vertical expansion. During this time, no work will be allowed in the fume hoods. Lab staff and occupants may also notice warmer-than-normal temperatures.

Elevator #8 will be shut down to replace the brake assembly. Once the work is complete, the elevator will be returned to service.

During the above-mentioned date and times, CO2 and lab vacuum will be shut down on the 9th floor only. Any vacuum or CO2 utilized in incubators, fume hoods, or lab benches on the 9th floor will be affected and unavailable. This utility disruption is to support construction on the east end of the 9th floor.

DI Water will be shut off and isolated during the above-mentioned date and times serving the 9th floor only. This will affect any lab sinks and Millipore machines that supply DI Water to the lab spaces.
