Thursday, May 8th, 6 pm through September 30th, 4 pm. Elevator #58 will be out of service for approximately eighteen weeks for modernization.
Southwest Tower-7th Floor Service Interruptions 5/2-3/2025
On May 2nd, 3 pm – May 3rd, 3 pm. To make repairs, freezer 722-A on the 7th floor will be shut down on Friday, 5/2, at 3 pm. Please ensure all temperature-sensitive products are removed from the freezer by that time.
McDonnell Pediatric Research Building-8210 BSL3 Suite Service Interruption 5/7-16/2025
From Wednesday, May 5th, 8 am, to Friday, May 16th, 8 am, the 8210 BSL3 suite will be decontaminated to accommodate maintenance and equipment removal. NO research work may occur in the 8210 suite during this outage.
Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health-Fire Alarm Service Interruption 5/2/2025
On Friday, May 2nd, from 9:30 to 11 am, Barnes facilities, contractors, and the City of St. Louis Fire Alarm Inspectors will test the new system on the fifth floor. Strobes will be visible, and horns will be heard throughout the building. This is only a test; there will be no need for evacuation.
McDonnell Pediatric Research Building-Access Control Programming Service Interruption 5/2/2025
On Friday, May 2nd, 8-9 am, revisions to the access control programming for the 8201 BSL3 suite will be completed. No work may occur in the 8201 BSL3 suite during the outage.
East Building-Elevator Service Interruption 5/2/2025
On Friday, May 2nd 4-6 am both elevators will be out of service for about two hours for work to support the modernization project. Once the work is complete, #47 will be returned to service.
April 30-May 9: Removal of Monitors on the First Floor of BJCIH
Starting April 30th, workers will remove the non-functional frameless monitors on the south wall of the BJCIH lobby on the first floor.
