To support an upcoming project to upgrade the building’s exhaust system, an exhaust system outage is required. During the above-noted date and time, there shall be NO work performed in any BSL3 suite ( 7230, 7302, 7303, 8201, 8210) throughout the building.

On Wednesday, November 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., facilities technicians will be installing a new lock in BSL3 lab 7303A. During this time, NO work shall take place in the BSL3 suite 7303.

On Saturday, November 15, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Facilities will shut down the temporary unit and activate the new air handler that has been installed to serve the 9th and 10th floors of Wohl Hospital during the HVAC renovation for the area. This will affect autoclaves, tunnel washers, and any equipment that requires processed steam on November 12, 12:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.

From November 11, 8:00 a.m.- November 21, 5:00 p.m., BSL3 suite MPRB 8201 will be out of service for annual performance verification.

Elevator 103 will be out of service on Sunday, November 16th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

On Wednesday, November 12th, 1 a.m.-6 a.m., this will affect the domestic hot and cold water to the building, bathrooms, kitchens, and vacuum system.

On Saturday, November 22, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., air handlers 1 & 2 will be shut down to facilitate the installation of new filter systems.
