The east entrance to the ground floor of The Biotechnology Center, accessible from Scott Ave, will be temporarily closed for necessary infrastructure repairs from April 17th 10 am – May 3rd 5 pm. Facilities will be turning off the domestic cold and hot water. No domestic water will be available to the entire building On Thursday, April 18th. This outage will start at midnight and end at 7 am. This will affect restrooms, sinks, and anything else that requires domestic water.

Midwest Elevator will be performing service work to the NRB Garage elevators. They will be taking one elevator at a time out of service starting at 7am on Monday, April 15 through 4 pm on Thursday, April 18. During this time, there will always be two elevators in service while one elevator is down.

On Wednesday, April 17th 8 am – 12 pm a facility technician will be making repairs to the emergency eye wash in BSL3 suite 431/441. During this time NO work shall take place within the BSL3 suite.

The 7th-floor DI water system has failed and will need to be repaired. Facilities will order parts and make necessary repairs. DI water is available on floors 6 and 8. The outage will be updated when the parts have arrived and installed.
