On Thursday, May 15th, 3-6 am, the HVAC system supply and exhaust system flows may be reduced to the 4th and 5th floor vivarium and lab spaces to perform preventive maintenance. NO work shall be performed in any BSL3 lab during this time.

Starting Sunday, May 18th, June 1st, and June 15th. During the time above, facilities along with contractors will be performing tests on the duct detector system of the fire alarm. There will be no alarms or strobes heard or seen during these tests.

Elevator 103 will be out of service on Sunday, May 25th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. It will be back in service at noon.

From 7 am on May 19th until 3:30 pm on May 22nd, contractors will work on the exhaust pipes of the BJC-IOH generators and the Wohl Hospital generator exhaust. Thursday, May 8th, 6 pm – May 12th, 4 pm The South elevators, #58 & 59, will be taken out of service to complete some renovation work and move the barricades. Elevator 59 will be returned to service once the work is complete.

Thursday, May 8th, 6 pm through September 30th, 4 pm. Elevator #58 will be out of service for approximately eighteen weeks for modernization.

On May 2nd, 3 pm – May 3rd, 3 pm. To make repairs, freezer 722-A on the 7th floor will be shut down on Friday, 5/2, at 3 pm. Please ensure all temperature-sensitive products are removed from the freezer by that time.

From Wednesday, May 5th, 8 am, to Friday, May 16th, 8 am, the 8210 BSL3 suite will be decontaminated to accommodate maintenance and equipment removal. NO research work may occur in the 8210 suite during this outage.
