On Friday, April 4th, from 3:30-4:30 pm, facilities will be transferring power on the 10th floor of the West Pavilion MRI suite. We will power down the equipment, transfer the feed, and restore power to the equipment. This is only for the 10th-floor MRI.

On Tuesday, April 8th, from 6 am – 2:30 pm, exhaust fan 32 will be shut down to assist contractors working on the 9th-floor renovation project who are replacing the existing unit. Elevator 102 will be out of service on Sunday, April 6th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

From 4 a.m. on Thursday, March 27th 4 am on Friday, March 28th 6 am, facilities technicians will be performing preventative maintenance on the HVAC system serving the lower level vivarium, including BSL3 suite B120. During this time, NO work shall take place in BSL3 suite B120.

The domestic cold water on the 6th floor will be shut off between the hours of 4 am through 6 am on April 28, 2025. This shutdown will affect the NTA restrooms (sinks, toilets) and water fountains on the 6th floor.

The domestic cold water on the 3rd floor will be shut off between the hours of 4 am and 6 am on March 31, 2025. This shutdown will affect the NTA restrooms (sinks, toilets) and water fountains on the 3rd floor.

On Wednesday, March 26th, from 7-9 am, facilities, along with the contractor, will be conducting a test of the fire alarm system. There will be strobes and horns witnessed throughout the building. No need for evacuation.

On Saturday, April 5th, from 7-11 am, all electricity in the building will be off, with the except of anything on emergency backup power. Guarantee Electric will be installing shunt trips into the normal power switchgear.
