On Wednesday, May 8th 8-9 am OFMD is working with a contractor to make a controls enhancement for the 7303 BSL3 suite. NO work may occur in the 7303 BSL3 suite during this outage.

Elevator #129 will be taken out of service to allow Midwest Elevator to perform require repair work. The elevator will be returned to service as soon as the repair work is complete.

During these overnight outages, a duct cleaning contractor will be completing duct cleaning on the 7th floor… and OFMD will be completing some testing and upgrades to the large supply air handling units (AHU-1 and AHU-2) that serve all of the labs in MPRB. On Friday, May 3rd 8-9 am a facilities technician will be troubleshooting an door issue inside of BSL3 suite 8201. During this time NO work shall take place within the BSL3 labs within the suite.

On April 29th we found a failure for several of the condensing units for the system for the Core@718 building the system will be down for repairs until May 3rd at 4:30 pm. At this time there will be no cooling to the north side of the building on all floors.

Elevators in the listed buildings will be out of service for 2 to 3 hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, between May 13th and May 17th, to complete the 5-year inspections as required by the Elevator Safety Unit of the Missouri Department of Public Safety. This steam outage is needed to make modifications and repairs to the main steam systems coming into the building. On Saturday, May 4th 6 am-12 pm Facilities will turn off the process steam for the entire building. This will allow contractors to make necessary repairs to the high-pressure steam valve. No process steam will be available to glass washers, autoclaves, and cage washers throughout the building during this time.

The emergency powered panels from floors 5 through 10 will be deenergized, these panels will experience, (2) power loss episodes during this outage lasting approximately 1 hour. Elevator 103 will be out of service on Sunday, May 19th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back on service at noon.
