Synopsis: Two unaffiliated subjects, a man and a woman, were in the Metro Bus Depot charging their phones near the Metro ticket machines. Three subjects known to them entered the Bus Depot from the MetroLink platform. One of the subjects assaulted the man and stole his headphones. They also stole a cell phone from the woman. All three subjects left on the MetroLink prior to being identified by the victims. Metro Public Safety and the SLMPD responded to assist. The SLMPD took a report and is investigating.

Synopsis: Protective Services officers located a subject who had been warned against trespassing on campus. He was loitering in the McMillan Hospital Building lobby. The subject had several active warrants. Protective Services officers called the SLMPD. The SLMPD declined to respond. Protective Services officers released the subject and again warned him against future trespass.

Synopsis: A SLMPD officer working as security for The City’s Finest (TCF), observed a portable toilet fully engulfed in flames in the 200 block of Taylor Ave. The SLFD arrived and extinguished the flames. Protective Services officers reviewed CCTV footage and saw a subject enter the portable toilet briefly before exiting and walking north on Taylor Ave. The toilet began smoking shortly after his exit. Protective Services officer located the subject just north of campus. He was identified and the SLMPD declined to take custody. Protective Services officers warned him against future trespass.

Synopsis: Campus Store employees reported a male subject took a large quantity of candy and departed the store.  Our dispatchers viewed live CCTV and located the subject on the MetroLink platform.  We made contact with him and recovered the stolen candy along with numerous pairs of sunglasses he had stolen from Walgreens prior to his arrival to campus.  There were outstanding warrants for the subject issued by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).  We took the subject into custody on the warrants.  SLMPD was unable to respond to campus to take custody of the subject.  We issued him a trespass warning and escorted him to the MetroLink platform.  We secured the sunglasses in our property room to be returned to Walgreens.

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers encountered a known trespasser while on patrol in the Barnard Hospital. Officers reminded the subject of his trespass warning and escorted him from campus. Approximately two hours later, Protective Services officers encountered the same subject on the 3rd floor of the Wohl Clinic. Officers took the subject into custody. The SLMPD responded to campus and arrested the subject.
