At approximently 8 am the exhaust fan serving the 3rd floor north fume hoods and general exhaust experienced a failure. Facilities technicians are currently working to secure materials and make the needed repairs. We expect the system to be returned to normal by 12 PM today.  At approximately 8:45 the exhaust system was back up and running. Normal operations may resume.
