Synopsis:   Two unaffiliated subjects were observed fighting with each other in the area of the MetroLink platform and S. Euclid Ave. BJH Public Safety officers attempted to intervene, and both subjects resisted. Protective Services officers arrived on scene and assisted BJH Public Safety with the detention. The subjects were determined to be in a romantic relationship. The SLMPD responded to campus and took custody of both subjects.

Synopsis:  Officers responded to the area of the Clayton Garage for a report of an assault. An employee reported that a vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Clayton and McKinley Avenues. The employee sounded his horn and gestured at the other driver. The employee proceeded to the Clayton Garage at which time the other driver followed him. The employee exited his vehicle to confront the driver who also exited his vehicle. The employee reported the driver chest-bumped him and shoved him before returning to his vehicle and continuing eastbound. The employee wished to file a formal complaint with the SLMPD who responded to the scene.
Disposition: Referred to the SLMPD.

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to the intersection of Parkview Pl. and S. Kingshighway Blvd. for a report of a suspicious person who was running in and out of traffic and climbing the light poles. Officers made contact with and identified the subject. He refused to obey officer commands and continued to run into traffic. Officers, including BJH Public Safety officers, attempted to detain the subject for his safety. While doing so, the subject kicked a Protective Services officer in the hip with his leg encased in a hard cast. The subject then kicked a BJH Public Safety officer in the head with the same leg in a hard cast. The BJH Public Safety officer was uninjured due to wearing a bike helmet at the time. The Protective Services officer sustained an injury to the hip, causing pain and a visible limp. While detained, the subject continued to try to assault officers and run into traffic. EMS was requested but failed to respond. The subject was placed in a wheelchair and escorted to the Barnes-Jewish Emergency Department (BJED). The SLMPD responded and charged the subject with assault. The subject remained at the BJED for treatment.

Synopsis:  Protective Services took a subject into custody for a prior property damage incident (Incident 2605-00372). The subject spit on a Protective Services officer during the course of the interaction. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department took custody of the subject.

Synopsis:  A Protective Services officer was approached while in his patrol vehicle by a known trespasser. The officer gave several commands for the subject to stay back and walk away. The subject ignored the commands and continued to approach the officer in his vehicle, so the officer exited his vehicle. The officer continually directed the subject to walk away and attempted to redirect him to the MetroBus Depot. The subject punched the officer in the face and resisted arrest. The subject was eventually detained. The SLMPD responded to campus and took custody of the subject. He was charged with Assault.
