Synopsis: 
A WUSM employee reported the theft of various office supplies from a locked cabinet on the 6th floor of the Maternity Hospital Building. Employees noticed pens and Post-it notes were missing from an overhead cabinet they believed to have been locked. There was no signs of damage to suggest the doors had been pried open. A stapler was also missing from an unlocked drawer in a desk located in a common work area. These items were believed to have gone missing sometime after the end of business on 12/11/2024 and the morning of 12/12/2024. Protective Services is investigating.

A WUSM employee reported the theft of coffee creamer from a locked cabinet in the CAKC. The cabinet was pried open and at least five cannisters of creamer were taken. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: 
A BJH employee reported the theft of their electric scooter from the Mid Campus Center Bike Rack. The BJH employee's bike lock was still in place at the bike rack and was not damaged.  A review of CCTV footage revealed a subject removed the scooter from the bike rack during the early morning hours. Protective Services is investigating.

A BJC employee reported the theft of her seat cushion from her cubicle on the 4th floor of the MCC. Another BJC employee reported that her laptop was not as she left it the night before and it appeared as though someone tried to sign into it. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: 
A patient made a delayed report of the theft of her license plates while her vehicle was parked in the Euclid Garage. The patient's husband parked the vehicle in the garage on 12/24/2024 at about 3:30pm. He left the garage at around 6:45pm. He did not notice the plates were missing until several days later. The patient did not report the theft for several weeks. A review of CCTV footage did not reveal the person responsible for the theft. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: 
A WUSM employee's vehicle was broken into while parked at the Euclid Meters. A firearm was stolen from within the vehicle. A review of CCTV footage showed at least two suspects arrived on campus in a gray/silver Nissan Maxima with no plates. One suspect  dressed in all black, wearing a reflective vest broke into the vehicle and possibly other vehicles on the lot. Two other instances of tampering were reported later on 1/30/2025 that are possibly related. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: 
A WUSM employee's vehicle was broken into while parked on Scott Ave. A laptop was stolen from within the vehicle. A review of CCTV footage showed at least four suspects arrived on campus in a white Nissan Sentra with no plates. Three suspects exited the vehicle. Two of the suspects stood guard with handguns while the third broke into the vehicle. Two other instances of tampering were reported that are possibly related. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: 
A contract employee reported the theft of several tools valued at approximately $500. The employee left the tools on a cart on the ramp to the GCWB loading dock. She then left to move her vehicle. Upon her return, she noticed several tools missing from the cart. CCTV footage revealed and unidentified subject pushing a wheelchair loaded with several items entered the dock ramp and removed items from the cart. The subject then left campus via the MetroLink. Protective Services is investigating.
