Location: Couch Biomedical Research Building Bike Rack
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of his bicycle from the bike rack just north of the Couch Biomedical Research Building. The employee parked the bike overnight and noticed it was missing the next morning. It was secured with a cable lock. CCTV footage revealed an unknown subject tampered with the cable lock at approximately 1:00 am and left the area. He returned shortly after and stole the bicycle. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: 4511 Forest Park Ave. Building Surface Lot
Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the east surface lot of 4511 Forest Park Ave. for a report of a suspicious person. The person was gone upon officers' arrival.  A review of the CCTV footage in the area showed the subject removed license plate renewal tags from a vehicle.  Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Euclid Power Plant Bike Rack
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported the theft of her bicycle from the Euclid Power Plant Bike Rack. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed an unidentified subject cut the cable lock securing the bicycle. The subject then rode the stolen bicycle north on Taylor Ave., ultimately leaving campus. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Clinical Sciences Research Building (CSRB) bike corral
Synopsis:  A BJC employee reported the theft of his bicycle from the CSRB bike corral. An unidentified subject enter the corral through a broken fence panel and stole the unsecured bicycle. He immediately left campus with the bike via the MetroLink. The broken panel on the corral has since been repaired.   Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Farmstead Cafe
Synopsis:  A Farmstead Cafe employee reported a subject took two drinks from the cooler in the cafe and left without paying for them. Protective Services located the subject at the MetroLink platform. He had already consumed the drinks. Farmstead management declined to press charges. Officers escorted the subject form campus and warned him against future trespass.
Disposition:  Suspect identified and removed from campus

Location: Euclid Power Plant Bike Rack
Synopsis:  While monitoring CCTV in real time, Protective Services dispatchers observed a subject steal a bicycle from the Euclid Power Plant bike rack. Officers responded to the area and located the subject. Officers took the subject into custody and recovered the stolen bicycle. Protective Services issued the subject a trespass warning and escorted him from campus.
Disposition:  Suspect located and warned against future trespass.
