Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported her wallet missing from her office. The employee placed her wallet in cabinet in her 6th floor office in the Wohl Clinic Building on 1/23/2023. Upon returning to work on 1/24/2023, the wallet was gone. The wallet contained IDs, credit cards and cash. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported a jar of pasta sauce was stolen after he set it down briefly in a break room on the first floor of the Mid Campus Center.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported several food items totaling $50 were stolen from the break room of the 6th floor in the Southwest Tower sometime between 2/1/2023 and 2/2/2023. Food items have gone missing in the past and other employee's have also had issues. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Mid Campus Center  Campus Store
Synopsis:  The assistant manager of the Campus Store recognized a known trespasser who had previously stolen from the store before. The manager observed the subject conceal several objects under his coat. She called Protective Services who arrived and took custody of the subject. Officers recovered a book, a sweatshirt, and several food items. The manager did not want to press charges. The subject was warned against future trespass and removed from campus.
Disposition: Suspect Identified. Investigation Complete.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported parking her vehicle on the 7th level of the Clayton Garage before work. Upon returning to her vehicle after work, she noticed the temp tag was missing from the rear license plate area. The tag appeared to have been ripped as the top left corner remained attached to the vehicle. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Biotechnology Center Building 2nd Floor
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported three University-owned cell phones valued at $270 were missing from a lab on the 2nd floor of the Biotechnology Center Building. The phones were last used on 2/13/2023 and could not be located on 2/17/2023. The phones were not secured, but left on a lab table near the door. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  A visiting researcher reported storing her bicycle in the CSRB Bike Corral on 2/23/2023. She did not secure her bicycle to a bike rack within the corral. Upon returning for the bike on 3/2/2023, it was gone.  Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Center for Advanced Medicine Bike Rack and Eric P. Newman Education Center
Synopsis:  An unaffiliated subject removed a bike from the bike rack at the Center for Advanced Medicine.  The subject also took items from an on-campus event in the Eric P. Newman Education Center.  Officers took the subject into custody and contacted the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).  SLMPD escorted the subject from campus.
Disposition: Subject removed from campus.

Location: 718 S. Euclid Ave. rear surface lot
Synopsis:  An unaffiliated subject driving a vehicle with a trailer pulled over into the surface lot of the 718 Core Apartment Residences to change a tire. The driver partially unloaded the trailer to remove the tire. The driver removed a bicycle from the trailer and left it next to the vehicle. The driver then left the area with the affected tire. Upon his return to his vehicle with the repaired tire, the bicycle was gone. CCTV footage in the area showed an unidentified subject stole the bicycle minutes after the driver left the area. Protective Services is investigating.
