Synopsis:  A University owned vehicle was stolen from the Clayton Garage. Just prior to the theft, an unaffiliated vehicle, occupied by two subjects, entered the garage by pulling a ticket. Shortly after, the vehicle left the garage, occupied by one subject. The University owned vehicle "piggy-backed" out of the garage behind the suspect vehicle. Both vehicles immediately left campus. The license plate on the suspect vehicle did not return to the vehicle on which it was displayed. The SLMPD was notified. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Several contractors in the area reported witnessing two subjects load a motorcycle into a white van in the Clayton Garage. The white van then broke through the west exit gate and left campus southbound on Taylor Ave. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed the van was accompanied by an unknown male riding a silver sportbike style motorcycle. The SLMPD took a report for the stolen motorcycle. Protective Services is assisting the SLMPD with their investigation.

Synopsis: A vehicle belonging to a delivery driver was stolen from the 4488 Forest Park Ave. surface parking lot while the owner was making a delivery inside the building.  The visitor had left the vehicle running and unsecured just outside the building's entrance.  A review of CCTV footage revealed a subject walking southbound through the area entered the vehicle and drove away.  The subject reported the incident to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).  Protective Services is assisting the SLMPD with the investigation.

Synopsis:   An unaffiliated outside vendor truck was parked on the surface lot of the @4240 Building. The driver of the truck was loading cargo into the back of the truck when he felt the truck begin to move. He jumped out of the cargo area of the truck, just as an unidentified subject drove off in the truck. A review of CCTV showed an unidentified subject entered the truck as the driver was loading and sped away with the loading dock still lowered to the ground. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) responded and took a report.
Disposition: Referred to the SLMPD.

Location: Surface Parking Lot at the Couch Building, 4515 McKinley Ave.
Synopsis:  A WUSM employee parked her vehicle on the surface lot at 4515 McKinley Ave. at approximately 6:30 or 7:30 pm on 2/4/2024. When she returned to the lot around 12:55 am the vehicle was gone and there was broken glass on the lot. A review of CCTV footage showed a vehicle with unidentified occupants pulled on the lot around 9:20 pm and stole the vehicle. The employee made a report with the SLMPD. Protective Services is aiding the SLMPD in the investigating.
