Parking & Transportation

Temporary parking for COVID-19 (revised 6.18.20)

Temporary discounted parking

As a reminder, free open lot parking expired on May 1, 2020. Open lot parking is now restricted to permit holders and non-permit holders will receive tickets if parked on a lot without a hang tag.

For the convenience of our employees, we will maintain the WUSM employee non-permit holder daily rate in Clayton Taylor Garage at $4/day until June 30, 2021. Please note, any validation tickets picked up prior to June 18, 2020 will have an expiration date of July 31, 2020. Validations will remain available at the Facilities Integrated Service Center (FISC) desk (Olin Residence Hall 1st floor lobby).

The FISC is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. Parkers will need to show a valid employee ID to receive the $4 rate. All validations received after June 18, 2020 will expire when employee daily parking will return to a discounted rate of $5 per day on June 30, 2021.

Contractors and visitors may park in the Clayton Taylor Garage for $15 per day.

If you are returning to campus and are interested in re-instating your parking permit, please contact the WUSM Transportation and Parking Office at medparking@wustl.edu.

Also, to help adhere to social distancing guidelines, we have directed campus shuttle buses to carry a maximum of 10 people. Managers are asked to take this into consideration so that employees are not penalized for being late because of this transportation limitation.

Second/third shift and weekend parking

As a reminder, if you are currently working second shift, third shift, weekends and/or holidays, you may park in the Clayton/Taylor Garage for free between 2pm and 6am (weekends and holidays all day). Please use your badge to swipe in and out of the garage (no special access is required).

Also, to help adhere to social distancing guidelines, we have directed campus shuttle buses to carry a maximum of 10 people. Managers are asked to take this into consideration so that employees are not penalized for being late because of this transportation limitation.

For staff who have been furloughed or laid off, please view the Furlough and Layoff Parking Process.
