Temporary parking for COVID-19 (revised 7.24.20)

Update – Temporary discounted parking

As a reminder, free open lot parking expired on May 1, 2020. Open lot parking is now restricted to permit holders and non-permit holders will receive tickets if parked on a lot without a hang tag.

For the convenience of our employees, we will maintain the WUSM employee non-permit holder daily rate in the Clayton Taylor Garage at $4/day until June 30, 2021. As a result of this rate, reduction discounted validation tickets are no longer needed, and a pre-loaded debit card will need to be utilized.

Beginning Monday, August 3rd we will no longer provide the discount by validation tickets. Parkers must visit the Clayton Taylor Garage Attendant’s Booth to register and pre-load a WUSM Debit Card. The booth is open from 8am-6pm, M-F. In order to maintain a timely exit process, we kindly ask that you visit the pedestrian door of the booth on foot prior to exiting the garage. The debit card will honor the $4/day rate in the Clayton Taylor Garage. Parkers will continue to pull a ticket to enter the garage at use the WUSM Debit Card as payment to exit.

All debit cards issued prior to July 22, 2020 will need to be replaced at the Clayton Taylor Garage Attendant’s Booth, as the old WUSM Debit Cards will not honor the $4/day rate.

Contractors and visitors may park in the Clayton Taylor Garage for $15 per day.

If you are returning to campus and are interested in re-instating your parking permit, please contact the WUSM Transportation and Parking Office at medparking@wustl.edu.

Also, to help adhere to social distancing guidelines, we have directed campus shuttle buses to carry a maximum of 10 people. Managers are asked to take this into consideration so that employees are not penalized for being late because of this transportation limitation.
