On 10/17 from 6 am to 3 pm, the building’s steam system will be shut down to allow a contractor to install a new tee fitting. This will affect the entire building. During the outage, there will be no heating capabilities and no steam to any equipment or devices that utilize steam in the building. Facilities personnel will be on site to monitor all systems and animal rooms. Animal rooms will have alternate heating sources (provided by facilities) placed in those rooms.
