Starting tonight Tuesday, September 20th the flooring contractor will start replacing the carpet at the Duncan Garage link at 9 pm. Duncan Avenue will be closed tonight (September 12th) and tomorrow night (September 13th), just west of Newstead Avenue, from 7:00 pm to 5:30 am for the hoisting of the steel structure for the new pedestrian link bridge (diagram). Workers began replacing the carpet and vinyl wall base on the FLTC second floor link, common areas, stairs, elevators and behind classrooms in corridor 2011 on September 6th. At approximately 8 am a leak in the DI water system was discovered. To make repairs facilities needs to shut down the DI water to the following rooms 5540,5542,5546,5548,5549. Facilities is currently working to procure parts and make repairs.
