On Monday, March 24th 5-6 am, facilities will be shutting down the exhaust system serving the radioactive isotope fume hoods in Room 5305. This outage will only affect the fume hoods in Room 5305, all other fume hoods in the building will not be affected.

McKinley Ave. will be closed to all vehicular traffic both directions and the North sidewalk. Elevator 103 will be out of service on Sunday, March 23rd, at 8 AM for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

During the time and date above facilities along with contractor will be conducting a test of the fire alarm system, there will be strobes and horns witnessed throughout the building. No need for evacuation.

Due to plumbing repairs that are needed and scheduled for the first floor restrooms located in the Barnard Hospital building, the restrooms will have to remain closed during the above noted date and times.

On Thursday, March 13th 6-7 am, Johnson Controls will modify the network engine that serves the MPRB-8201 BSL3 suite. Although there is no anticipated impact on HVAC performance, out of abundance of caution, NO work will be permitted in the BSL3 lab during the noted times.

On Thursday, March 13th from 4-6 am Facilities will shut down air handling unit NTAAHU4 and NTAAHU5 serving the 4th floor ABSL3 labs to take measurements needed for an active fan guard project. As a precaution NO work will be allowed within the 4th floor ABSL3 labs during the noted times.
