Elevator 103 is currently out of service due to a component failure. KONE expects to receive the replacement part on Monday and will get the elevator back in service as soon as possible.

During the time and date above contactor’s will be de-energizing power general exhaust fans and fume hoods in McDonnell Science Building. This outage is necessary for project being done in the McDonnell Science penthouse.

On Friday, January 10 5-6:30 am Facilities Technicians will be conducting test and making repairs to the air handling system serving the 4th floor. During this time NO work shall take place in any 4th floor BSL3 labs.

As part of the modernization project on elevator #47, both East Building elevators will be removed from service, allowing Midwest Elevator to perform work in the shaft. Elevator 103 will be out of service on Sunday, January 19th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

Elevator 102 will be out of service on Sunday, January 5th, at 8 am for 4 hours to perform preventive maintenance. The elevator will be back in service at noon.

On Monday, January 6th from 4-6 am facilities will be de-energizing power to seven air handing units (AHU) on the 10th and 11th floors in the building. These unit’s serve’s-controlled air in the coordinating corridors on these floors.

On Monday, January 6th, from 4 to 7 am, facilities and contractors will convert AHUs 11121A, 11121B, 11310A, 11510B, and 11518 from normal power to emergency power. These units are located in the corridors of IOH’s 10th and 11th floors.

On January 6th, Farmstead Café will have revised operating hours of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Additionally, they will be rolling out a new menu available in-café or online.
