On Wednesday, November 6th, from 8:30 to 9:30 am, BSL3 lab suite B120 will be shut down to investigate the cause of smells inside the lab. During this time, NO work shall occur inside the suite.

On Thursday, November 7th, elevator #160 will be taken out of service for approximately 2 hours for repairs. It will be returned to service once the work is complete.

On Friday, November 1st, 9:30-10:00 am, OFMD needs to check the calibration of one sensor to finish the recommissioning effort for the 452/462 ABSL3 suite. The work will not impact the 452/462 suite; however, as a precautionary measure, no work may occur in the 452/462 suite during this outage.

From Friday, November 8th 6 pm – Monday, November 11th 3 pm fume hoods and exhaust will not be available in Labs 718, 714 and 711. Contractors are replacing Exhaust Fan 18.

On Friday, November 1st, from 5 to 6 a.m., facilities and contractors will conduct a test of the Fire Alarm’s audio and visual system. You will see strobes and hear audibles in the building. THIS IS ONLY A TEST; there’s no need for evacuation.
