On Wednesday, December 4th, from 6:30 to 10 am, plumbers will be making repairs in BSL3 suite 431/441. During this time, no work will take place in the suite.

On Saturday, December 7th, from 4 am to 2 pm, facilities will turn off the heating and hot water to make repairs on the third floor. Cooler-than-normal temperatures will be expected on floors 2 -11. Facilities will try to minimize the impact by adjusting air handler temperatures on the floors during the above-noted times.

On Tuesday, November 26th, from 6-9 am, the heating control valve serving 7303-Anteroom will be replaced during the outage. NO work may occur in the 7303 BSL3 suite during this outage.

The domestic hot water supply on the east end of CSRB will be down for repairs until further notice. This will affect bathrooms and sinks.

From Wednesday, November 20th, 3:45 pm to Thursday, November 21st, 4:30 pm, the domestic hot water will be off on the east end of CSRB NTA for repairs. This will affect the hot water supply in bathrooms and sinks.

On Tuesday, November 26th, from 4 to 8 am, some electrical panels will be turned off so contractors can remove some temporary construction electrical panels. Reception for the two-way radios will be reduced.

On Wednesday, November 20th, from 3-6 am, Facilities Operations will upgrade the HVAC controls during the above-noted date and time. During this time, occupants on all floors( except the vertical expansion areas), including the LL vivarium and BSL3 suite, will experience a loss/reduction of supply and exhaust flow to their lab spaces. On Wednesday, November 20th, 6 pm through November 21st, 12 am, Elevator #60 will be removed from service to allow contractors to repair. Once the work is complete, it will be returned to service.

On Saturday, November 23rd, facilities will be conducting switchgear maintenance on the electrical gear that feeds the UPS. The UPS will be transferred, so there will be no power loss. The facility will test and operate the gear and afterward return to normal. We do not anticipate any power loss.

On Thursday, November 21st, 6:30-9:30 am facilities door technicians will be making repairs/improvements to the entry door of B125. During this time NO work shall take place in BSL3 suite B120.
