Starting Monday, March 13, the TAB Service Elevator (#129) was taken out of service for modernization. The elevator will be out of service for about 20 weeks, returning to service Thursday, June 29th.

Facilities will be working on the heating hot water system on Friday, March 3rd 12 am – 7 am. The entire building may see cooler-than-normal temperatures.

Facilities/Contractors will be troubleshooting the West Genome Data Center automatic transfer switch. On March 1st 8 am – 3 pm, there will be switching of breakers to simulate an outage to check the operation of the automatic transfer switch. Facilities will turn off air handler units feeding the 8th floor during February 15-17. The units will be off periodically from 5:00 PM to 4:00 am each night, Wednesday and Thursday. During these times the 8th floor may notice a decrease in airflow and slightly warmer than normal temperatures.
