On Thursday, October 10th 1:30-4:30 Pm maintenance work will be completed on the humidifier of the terminal equipment serving the NTA 452/462 suite. Although facilities do not expect any impact to the performance of the BSL3 lab as a precaution NO work shall take place in the 452/462 lab suite during the above-noted times.

On Monday, October 14th, 17th, 5-7 am, Barnes facilities will be transferring normal power to emergency power to conduct maintenance on their switchgear. The affected floors will be the 6th, 7th, and 8th. There will be a blip during the transfer. There will be three outages: Monday, Tuesday Part B, and Thursday Part B.

To support the steam tie in for the sterilizers on 10th floor construction project all the Autoclaves and sterilizers in the LER hallway floors 3-10 will be out of service. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

To support the 10th-floor fit-out construction project, we will turn on the heating to the whole 10th floor, EXCLUDING the animal holding rooms, which will maintain normal temperatures. All areas can expect to be warmer than usual on the 10th floor.

On Saturday, October 26, from 6 am to 2 pm, contractors will turn off air handlers serving floors, lower levels 2, and 9, and sections 3, 4, and 5 to make necessary repairs. During the above-noted dates and times, these areas will experience a loss of airflow and fluctuating temperatures.

On Saturday, October 19th 7 am – 5 pm contractors will turn off the air handler serving the lower level to make necessary repairs. The lower level will notice fluctuations in temperatures and airflow.

On Sunday, October 13th, 7 am – 5 pm contractors will turn off the air handler serving the lower level to make necessary repairs. During the above-noted dates and times, the lower level will notice fluctuations in temperatures and airflow.

On Sunday, October 13th, facilities will be cleaning the switchgear for the Data Center East and West on the “W” feeder. Utilities will be switched to the “D” feeder, so there will be no interruption of power during this outage.

Elevators in the listed buildings will be out of service for 2 to 3 hours from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm, on October 7th, to complete the 5-year inspections as required by the Elevator Safety Unit of the Missouri Department of Public Safety.
