During this outage on Wednesday, September 25th 12 am – 8 am there will not be any DI water available on the 7th, 8th and 9th floors.

Midwest Elevator will start the modernization project for elevators #47 and #48. One elevator will be taken out of service at a time to be modernized. Each elevator is expected to take approximately 14 weeks to complete.

Midwest Elevator will begin work on the modernization project on Elevators #58 and #59. Elevator #59 will be taken out of service first, and it will be down for approximately 17 weeks. After #59 is complete, it will be returned to service, and #58 will be taken out of service to be modernized.

On Sunday, October 13th 7 am – 3 pm Facilities will be conducting cleaning of the switchgear on the “W” feeder, power will be transferred to the “D” feeder so there will be no interruption of utilities during the outage.

On Saturday, October 10th 7 am -3 pm Facilities will be conducting cleaning of the switchgear for Data Center east and west on the “D” feeder. Utilities will be transferred to the “W” feeder so there will be no interruption of power during the outage.

On October 10th 7 am – 3 pm, During this time Facilities will be testing the special hazard system at the Genome Data Center. There will be no audibles are strobes going during this test.

On Saturday, September 28th 10 am – 2 pm, Contractors will shut down the supply fan to the air handler serving the north end of the 8th floor to make necessary repairs. During time, temperatures may fluctuate at the north end of the 8th floor, but the exhaust air will remain on.

On Saturday, October 5th, 6am – 2 pm, Facilities will turn off the exhaust fan for the north end of the 8th floor to make necessary repairs. During this times, the north end of the 8th floor will experience no exhaust air. No work should occur in the fume hoods during time.

On Wednesday, September 18th 5-11 pm Facilities will be testing fire alarm devices as a result there will be audible, and strobes activated at this time throughout the building. THIS IS ONLY A TEST!

During the dates and times noted below facility technicians will be performing preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems serving the lower-level vivarium including the B120 BSL3 suite.
