Facilities will be making repairs to the medium-pressure steam serving the entire building. Autoclaves and cage-washing equipment throughout the building will be without steam on Friday, November 18th – Saturday, November 19th.

Facilities will be replacing hot water isolation valves. The entire building will be without domestic hot water on Saturday, December 3rd 7 am – 3 pm.

A mechanical contractor will be installing cross-connect panels in the large supply air handling units (AHU-1 and AHU-2) that serve all of the labs in MPRB. The 1103 BSL3 suite will be shut down to accommodate the installation of a new autoclave unit and recommissioning of the BSL3 suite. NO work may occur in the 1103 BSL3 suite from Friday, November 18th 8 am – Tuesday, December 6th at 8 am.

Due to facilities making repairs to the backflow there will be no water in CID on Saturday, November 12th 4-9 am. This will affect all bathrooms, sinks, and anything else that requires water throughout the building

Due to construction going on in Renard 6th and 7th floors there will be no Domestic Hot and Cold water throughout the Renard Building on Tuesday, November 1st 2 am – 6am. This will affect restrooms, sinks and anything else that requires water throughout the building.

Facilities will be making a repair to the Heating Hot Water Riser in McMillan during the above time. The Heating Hot Water will not be available on Saturday, October 29th 4 am – 4 pm the building may experience colder than normal temperatures throughout the entire building during the outage.

Facilities will be testing the audio/visual fire alarms and door holders throughout Mallinckrodt on Thursday, November 10th 5:30 am – 7:00 am. During this time you will hear warnings and see strobes but do not need to leave the building, the doors will be opened back up after they are tested as well.
