On March 21st from 3 am to 7 am there will be a lab air and vacuum outage for the McDonnell Medical Sciences building for the 7th floor construction. There will be limited to no vacuum and lab air to the 7th floor in this time frame.

The Fire Alarm System is currently not functioning in the Clayton Garage. Contractors are currently working on the issue and Protective Services will be conducting a fire watch until the system is back up and running.

On Sunday, April 14th 7-11 am facilities electricians and contractors will be conducting inspection and testing on the transformer that feeds power to the Metro Garage. On Wednesday, March 27th 5-7 am Facilities will be de-energizing the redundant power source that partially serves the 6th – 10th floors in Wohl Clinic, and the 5th – 10th floors in Wohl Hospital. On Thursday, March 28th 4 am- Friday, March 29th 7 am facilities technicians will be performing preventative maintenance task on the HVAC systems serving the lower level vivarium. During this time NO work shall take place in the BSL3 lab suite B120.

On Thursday, March 14th 10-10:30 am access control will be performing work on the door locks inside BSL3 lab 1103. During this time NO work shall take place in the lab.

The NTA elevators will be taken out of service, one at a time as needed, between 7 am and 4 pm, on both April 3rd & April 4th. This will allow contractors to install new fire alarm devices in the elevators machine rooms, and in the top of the elevator hoist ways. This is part […]

The NTA elevators will be taken out of service, one at a time as needed, between 7 am and 4 pm on March 28th. This will allow contractors to install new fire alarm devices in the elevator pits and basement as part of the fire alarm upgrade project.

Elevator #143 will be taken out of service on Thursday, March 14th, at 8 am so contractors can replace one of the laminate panels in the cab. The elevator will be returned to service as soon as the work is complete.
